The book 31 Bible Verses By Subject Master Collection is an amazing book for Christians and for people who are looking for answers to their everyday struggles. It talks about grace and the new Covenant. The old covenant was written in stone, but the new covenant is written on our hearts, made possible only by faith in Christ, who shed His own blood to atone for the sins of the world. People should know that Jesus' finished work on the cross has made us all victorious. We are no longer slave of sin but of righteousness. No longer should we have to fight FOR victory because Jesus already won us over. All we need to do is to stand firm and believe in Christ's finish work.

Great resource and reference book to have on hand

I love God's word, the Bible. It is a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet (Psalm 119:105). Not only does God speak to us and direct us through the Bible, but the truth contained within it also sets us free (John 8:32).

This compilation of 5 books provides scriptures from the King James Version for different topics that you can access easily at any time. Therefore, this is a great resource and reference book to have on hand.

Each topic starts with the authors "note of encouragement" and then includes a list of 31 scriptures on each of the following topics:

*Prosperity

*Faith

*Healing

*Strength

*Encouragement

You can use these verses to simply read through them when dealing with one of the topics, choose verses to memorize or do a deeper bible study on the verses listed. Simply one more way to get more of God's word into your life!

Excellent Resource!

31 Bible Verses is a fabulous collection that I will refer to over and over again. I enjoy having these verses all compiled in one place. The author starts each subject area with a "Note of Encouragement" which is so well written and, well, encouraging! She then lists bible verses that directly relate to that subject area. She discusses faith, strength, healing, prosperity, hope and so much more. She also gives excellent meditation tips, which I found very helpful.

When you read and meditate on scripture every day, your life changes. It is as simple as that. This book makes it easy to do this daily. I highly recommend this book!

Very Useful Devotional For Christians!

I have always loved devotionals. They help one to focus on God's daily provisions. I was happy to see this book in Kindle shop because the book can go with me wherever I go with my Kindle. The moment I started reading this devotional, I knew I had something that I had always wanted on my Kindle.

My Observations:

*** These are brief devotionals, which even the busiest person can read.

*** There is one devotion for a day, 30 in all.

*** The presentation touches one's heart deeply.

*** It is spiritually very stimulating.

My Only grievance is that there are only 30 of them. I wish the author would give us at least 3 months worth of reading in each volume, 4 volumes per year.

My Recommendation:

*** Good buy for everyone who takes their devotions seriously

Insightful!

I'll be honest with you right up front - I know this author personally. That aside however, I'll tell you that if you're looking for an insightful, spiritually-driven, relevant devotional/book that'll speak to your soul, look no further than "Eavesdropping on God." Jeffers does a supurb job connecting with what I personally believe to be the spiritual intent. I can say that because it literally resonated as truth spoken from a man who set himself aside and took on a role of a spiritual deliveryman. Get your copy soon. And while you're shopping, check out his other writings, which are equally as intellectually and spiritually stimulating!

It is my sincere hope that this is not the message readers of this book will interpret from the chapters that follow but I rather hope that the message is also one of the need to practice responsible caution when choosing a home Church. I hope the message also contributes to the understanding that the negative actions one might experience in one Church, perpetrated by certain members or Leaders, does not represent that of all Christians or of all Churches.

There are good Churches available, where one can find avenues for true worship of God and true Christian fellowship. I have endeavored through examples and scripture quotes, to offer advice on how to avoid negative Church experiences and to find those that can add true blessings to one's Christian walk and life of worship and praise toward God.

I too was raised in the Gb church. I thank God my parents and God shielded me from falling into the legalism that religions promote. Every religious group must guard themselves from legalism that separates us from God.

Book Review: Until Now

Until Now I haven't written many reviews because I don't like spoilers. So as not to spoil the drama for you I'm going to try to stick mainly to events and people who are not in the book. Such as myself. From the moment my friend started using actual names of people that I know I wondered when and where my name would appear. My anticipation intensified in the afterward where my name finally appears in the phrase: "people I forgot to mention." I attribute that to drain bamage or to Yahweh knowing that it would be too glorious for me to handle having my name inscribed in this book of a lamb's life.

If Roland Filbrun was schizophrenic I would be his bad side. Roland is diplomatic. I am problematic. Notwithstanding we have enjoyed many good times together and some shenanigans.

I felt like a ghost throughout Until Now because many times I was well within the sidelines.

I think that I knew Roland before he knew me because I was just a shy guy and he was outgoing. I grew up in the same tight subculture as Roland but in a different state. When I was 17 my family moved to Ohio where I became good friends with two of Roland's acquaintances. One who was a bit skeptical of Roland's spiritual exploits and the other who shared one of the first cell phones I ever saw with him every other weekend. I will mention their names later unless I forget.

My first real encounter with Roland was on a job where I was a plumbers helper and he was a trim carpenters apprentice. Roland had invented and installed a spring lever in his lunch box making it impossible to close the lid unless there was an eating fork holding the spring lever in place.
