Long before “Booty Me Down,” Kstylis was known as K-Dog, creating his own dance moves at school and house parties and making a name for himself at the legendary teen spot Club Sweat.

He breaks down how watching his sister LT The Boss record music in a bedroom closet first sparked his interest in becoming an artist. He also talks about studying the movement created by artists like Soulja Boy and Fabo of D4L—then figuring out how to take inspiration from that era while creating his OWN sound, beats, dances and lane for the ladies.

Kstylis takes us back to his first recorded song, “Swag Check,” getting his mom’s approval, connecting with Loso and the Spacekids, and creating early records and visuals like “Juice My Swag.”
