Today's podcast guest is Matthew Papuchis, a dear friend, author, and communications expert. We worked together at Ritz-Carlton where he led the internal communications team for conveying service values to all of the properties globally. Matt is very unique because he approached this role looking to gather input and resources from others, instead of simply sharing his own personal ideas and vision. We discuss:
-The role of internal communications for driving success across the enterprise
-How sharing information inspires performance, creates buzz, and develops brand ambassadors
-Why not sharing updates is a disservice and that its OK to not KNOW everything
-How writing his book, "A Little Birdie Told Me..." allowed him to heal, find hope, and offered him encouragement to FLY during the pandemic
