Mostly Film

Jonathan & JP are joined by Mostly Focused co-host and Star Wars cinephile Garrett Hunt as the boys break down Star Wars: A New Hope. Plus, a discussion centered on Disney & how they’ve handled their properties. Are they still the GOAT? We’ll see. Scorsese turns 80. Indiana Jones 5. And so much more! Oh, and you’ll never guess who Garrett would cast in a reboot of A New Hope (it’s the worst).

The Pilot episode. The virgin voyage. JP and Jonathan, in a spur of the moment decision, recorded the breakout Mostly Film, flaws and all. The boys discuss their favorite films, their first films, favorite actors, and favorite directors. It’s the first date, the get to know us segments. Being a part of the Mostly Focused family you can except hot takes a-plenty, such as: Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie being overrated. Is Heath Ledgers Joker role really that good? JP hates Jurassic Park? And a slew of mistakes that lead a loaded housekeeping in our follow-up episode. Join us in our next episode as we deep dive Star Wars: A New Hope and discuss Disney as a media empire, the good and bad.
