I pretty much had nothing to do today and my Internet was wonky and not allowing to do more than look around socials. So I ended up rewatching an old movie for the 10th time and while I was doing thatvi decided to do a bit of drawing. Now since I could not remember the other characters in details, I decided to Loosely paint the ocean healer again and it was an interesting process of doing what seemed to be so ugly and trying to work it into a recognable character through key features even with some alterations.

And this was the result

I thought the concept of drawing the same character in different styles was kinda fun so I'm going to do this again.

Hello,

It's been more than a month since I last posted, mainly because I didn't have anything to write about for a blog post so I lost my motivation to share my art here. I kept putting it off until the day I felt inspired to write again and the days kept rolling by.

Now, I want to give it another shot, but this time, I'll try expressing myself through videos, even though it will require more effort as it's not just a simple upload. I'll have to navigate through another platform than the one I have gotten used to to make it happen. Here goes my dice.

I have always avoided orange while painting. For me it's an annoying colour and I dont know the feeling of "yellow" so you can imagine my confusion when I started to associatea high chroma orange with comfort. That is how I got to start this portrait. It is also a meme on my inability to see undertones of orange in real life people.

That being said it was quiet pleasing that I was able to blend this 'orange' portrait just moving around the colour wheel.

Granted there was no real effort to blend the colours since I was using a very textured brush,and keep the textures. This brush, which is a default Procreate brush,Tamar,is a real heaven sent to ease my missing the goauch brush I had become attached to on clip studio paint. The difference is that the goauche renders like a dirty brush while Tamar is a drybrush simplicita which means it retains all edges unless you blend with the blend tools.

Here is on of my recent finished artworks. This one was cover a few days from start to finish mainly because I was doing other stuff in berween because she gave me ideas for other pieces I decided to sketch as much as I can before I start rendering.

This was painting created on procreate with ink brushes and my custom hair brush. I hope you emjoy this timelapse video.
