Episode 42
Thank you for joining us on the first installment of the Moterrific Podcast - Women in Motorcycling Series. In this episode, Brittany Morrow, founder of Rock the Gear and MSF Rider Coach, tells us about what she has been up to since her accident almost 10 years ago. Who better than to inaugurate the newest series of interviews, which I loosely dubbed Women who Rock, than the founder of Rock the Gear...and recorded the first episode on International Female Ride Day to boot!
Warning - The interview was casually recorded post-ride in a cafe so there is background noise. I scrubbed out what I could. Enjoy!

Welcome to our "40th" Epiversary(?) We're just making it up as we go along...as you know. This episode covers a brief recall for Zero Motorcycles (link), local events in SoCal (Willow Racing with Walt Fulton and the Superbike Shootout at Fontana Speedway), Cristi's serendipitous trip and stories from Austin's MotoGP, reviews of Arai and Bell helmets, the Hipster bike shop name randomizer designed by Evan (aka "Tech Support"), and OEM marketing chatter. A general vicinity map of where I rode and various shots from the trip to Austin, GP at COTA and Revival Cycles' Handbuilt Show, are posted below.

Thank you for joining us for Episode 37, where we introduce Alisa Clickenger (aka MotoAdventureGal) and discuss buying a used bike (sometimes exciting, sometimes stressful), which Joanne is currently in the process of doing!

A big thank you to all of our listeners (new and old) as we celebrate ONE (!) year of doing this podcast! One year ago, we released our introductory episode and our intentions to bring a little female perspective into the motorcycling world. I'm so happy that my bestest co-host leaped headfirst into doing this podcast when I was still in the 'tossing ideas around' stage. I've learned so much from a gear standpoint and hope to make this year where I learn more from a riding standpoint. I'm thankful that I have an outlet where we can all share these experiences together...ok, on with the show....
The Klim close-up photos I've been promising...busy week (sorry!).
And last but not least, here's Joanne in all her glory wearing the Altitude, in a size 4:
