Yes, Andie and Angie know it’s March, but in the springtime, moms are busy preparing for the upcoming school year. Well, actually moms are in the background supporting their middle school and high school kids as they make important decisions about the upcoming school year. Some of the decisions middle schoolers and high schoolers make in the spring can greatly impact their life. No pressure! Okay, so there’s a little pressure. But moms are always there, encouraging their preteens and teens. They’re cheering them on as they choose their school schedules, electives, or tracks.  Plus middle schoolers and high schoolers also have a lot to think about from keeping up with the fashion trends (apparently vests and cargo pants are back in style), cell phones, lunch schedules,  lockers, and sports. It’s a lot! So grab a cup of coffee mama, and get ready to tackle the spring and the upcoming school year. You’re doing a great job helping your preteens and teens during this extra important season of their lives!

A huge part of being a mom is planning. Spring is here so moms are already planning for the upcoming school year. As you know, moms are trying to remain present and involved in their kid's current school year, while also preparing for the upcoming school year. And while moms are making all of these school plans, they’re also making spring break plans for their families. Yep, that’s the mom life for you—juggling a million things at once, while still trying to get the laundry done. Plus, the moms of young kids, are busy filling out preschool registration paperwork or getting ready for kindergarten roundup. Andie and Angie have a few tips and tricks to share in this very relatable episode. If you start feeling a little overwhelmed during the spring, just remember: you’re doing a great job, mama! This time they’re diving into the challenges for the older kids and the youngest kids. Andie shares stories from her teenagers and college kids—missing out on graduations and so much more, while Angie looks back on bringing up a baby to toddlerhood in a time when faces were all covered by masks and even family members couldn’t connect in person. How are those covid-era babies doing now and how are moms helping them grow up? And while they’re not making light of tragedy or trauma, Andie and Angie are definitely ready to tell some stories and laugh at some of the wild stuff we went through with our kids!

Okay, well they aren’t officially doctors, but they have a lot of practical tips and tricks to share through the entire episode. Shout out to the Mother Funny Tribe who are making, and keeping their child’s appointments! Seriously, you deserve a badge, a lollipop, a sticker, or maybe even a Stanley! For all the young moms and/or first-time moms out there, sometimes it can feel extra stressful trying to navigate colds, allergies, and ear infections. Just know, you’re not alone! Sometimes you just need to take your toddler to the doctor so you can have a little reassurance that everything will be okay. Keep it up mamas!
