Motherhood can stretch us in ways we never expect, physically, emotionally, and mentally. And for many mums, the postnatal period becomes less about “bouncing back” and more about finding a way back to themselves at all.
Today I’m joined by Hayley, founder of Happy Moon Yoga, a perinatal yoga specialist and mum of two under two. Rather than focusing on the details of birth, this conversation centres on what came after, how yoga supported Hayley in her postnatal healing, helped her reconnect with her body, and gave her tools to regulate her nervous system during an incredibly intense season of life.
We talk about gentle movement, self-compassion, showing up imperfectly, and why Hayley created her online yoga club, a safe, accessible space for mums who might be struggling, overwhelmed, or simply craving a softer way to heal alongside their babies.
This episode is for any mum who feels tender, nervous, or unsure, and needs permission to take things slowly.
