FOX’s Jim Shearer is joined by his mother, Laurie Shearer, RN, as they look back on her career as a registered nurse, one that included over 20 years of working with older adult patients. Laurie will discuss what inspired her to become a nurse, why she decided to get back into the profession after raising five children as a homemaker, and what she enjoyed most about working with older adults.
