We spend the first segment digging into Toyota's debut of 15 EV concepts. There's everything from a little Land Cruiser to a Lexus hypercar. Then, we check out Ken Block's new Audi Hoonitron that stars in the next installment in the Gymkhana series. We take a brief look at the newly teased front end of the GMC Sierra EV. Finally, it's muscle car time when take a look at the new Shelby Mustang GT500 KR.

The classic Shelby Cobra is a legendary performance car, but does it work as an electric vehicle? Motor1.com Director of Video Clint Simone returns to the podcast to talk about his experience driving a Superformance Cobra EV prototype with a Tesla Model S powertrain, and how it compares to the company’s gas-powered version. We also bid farewell to the Audi TT RS in America, and we compare several modern retro-themed vehicles with their classic counterparts.

We start this week by going through the big vehicle debuts like the BMW XM, Genesis G90, and Hennessy Project Deep Space. Then, we take a listener question about how to balance wanting to enjoy cars but not necessarily having the space or money for them. Finally, we discuss which dead automakers deserve to make a return.

It’s another Ford versus Ferrari matchup this week as both brands compete for attention with two major debuts. A completely redesigned Ford Ranger will appeal to the masses in 180 countries, while the stunning Ferrari Daytona SP3 from the Icona series will be available only for a fortunate few. Sticking with rare cars, Bruce and Smith try to outdo each other on an obscure car challenge, finding vehicles for sale that nobody’s heard of.  And since it’s Thanksgiving weekend in America, the duo talks about car-themed gifts you absolutely shouldn’t (and a few you should) buy for the enthusiast in your life.  

This week was the Los Angeles Auto Show, and it gave us a lot to talk about. We discuss the changes to the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, and the Subaru Solterra/Toyota bZ4X twins. Then, we answer a question about the Kia EV6 and talk about the rumor of Audi buying McLaren to some extent. Back on topic, we dig into the Acura Integra, Mahindra Roxor, and Mazda CX-50.

Very few people have driven all the latest high-performance EVs but special guest Tom Moloughney has. We explore the Tesla Model S Plaid, Lucid Air, Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV, and the Ford Mustang Mach-E with a preview of Christopher Smith's Mach-E review coming soon on Motor1.
