This week Ray & Joe do a live remote from the Town of Oyster Bay car show
at Tobay Beach on the beautiful South Shore of Long Island. Special guests and listeners
dropped by and shared some stories and got some face time with their favorite MotorMouth's.

The guys turn this show over to the listeners & guests by highlighting
a carefully selected grouping of "best-of" bits from the course of the last year. Listen

The guys from the L.I. Olds Club drop by to talk about their upcoming car show which
quickly diverts to talk of the old Chiffon Margarine TV commercial, how best to delete exhaust system
components, then back to the history of the 442. Coil pack "tunneling" is visited along with an
Astro Van that has driveability issues...all on MMR this week.

The boys talk about the benefits of using modern battery powered shop tools,
and Ray explained to his daughter what overdrive is and why it's a good thing. Carl Anthony
called to talk about an article on www.Automoblog.net that details the National statistics behind
current auto theft trends, which segued into prevention methods like Lojak & On-star.

Joe details his completion of a Hummer exhaust replacement, Ray gets into the
details of fine tuning an Edelbrock carburetor, and the passing of local racing legend Willie Hassek
is discussed. Author and host of Hagerty's You Tube show "The Barn Find Hunter", Tom Cotter
calls in to share some secrets for finding lost automotive treasures right in your own backyard.

Joe details his diagnostic path when working on a Toyota that has a Ford alternator
in it, Ray looks into a larger brake rotor upgrade for his car, we find out why a caller's Ford Freestar
didn't start after being jacked up, and the mysterious problem the Valiant Joe worked on was
revealed through some good old fashioned diagnostics.

Part 2 of our fundraising campaign found us talking about broken Ford spark plugs,
an Audi that has throttle control issues, a Honda Pilot that doesn't know which lane its in,
and a surprise found after a brake line repair Ray made on a flatbed truck.

While doing a station fundraising campaign the boys still manage to talk about the best
methods to clean foggy headlights, discuss whether or not fuel additives would cause engine codes
to set on a Toyota, and keep current with Chris Switzer's Chrysler 300 restoration project.
