We are saved solely by grace, and it is by grace that we are able to live in an ever-increasingly hostile world. Our best friends in the church or our membership are there to travel through the joys and sorrows of life together.

Peter warns us to have a clear mind and be watching because Satan is continually on the prowl seeking to destroy our lives. Satan is described as a roaring lion that desperately seeks to devour us. However, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah has already prevailed over Satan. Therefore, we can cast our cares upon Jesus because He cares for us, and very soon the devil will be placed under our feet as well!
