In honor of Independence Day this week, we wanted to do a special episode listing our favorite American Things. We approached this episode with the goal of choosing things that are American icons and were created in the USA, perfected in the USA or just make you think of this great country.

Before anyone gets too upset, we purposely left off things like the 4th of July, American Flag, the Constitution or the Star Spangled Banner because we wanted to go a little deeper with our picks, and avoid too much overlap between us. There will be an obvious item or two on our lists, but also some that may surprise you.
