No matter what generation you are tied to, chances are good you grew up watching cartoons of some kind. Disney cartoons go back more than 80 years and animated stories have been part of our lives ever since.

Some of our choices we're only around for a few years while others have lasted for decades. Though we're a few years apart, we are both kids of the 1980s and watched many of the same cartoons. And our picks were not limited to our youth either - in fact some of our picks we discovered as adults.
