Why Mary?

Why does God choose this 14 year old girl from the first century of all people? 

I think it was because of her humility. Because when she sings in response her first line is "May my life magnify the Lord". 

God chooses the humble. Christmas is a reminder to walk in Mary's humility.

God is good to the pure in heart. 

What if our circumstances say otherwise? This is a sermon about not getting bitter when we go through seasons of questioning our faith.

Aparently, one or the other is cool with Jesus -- just don't be lukewarm. 

 

Wait, Jesus desires cold faith? How does that work and how do we become more and more the churhc Jesus desires.
