Dr. Tammy Rhoeling and Pamela Kay are our guests for this episode of Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast! In this episode, we discuss pelvic health curriculum in physical therapy school, how this has changed over time, current labs included in this coursework, and clinical internships in pelvic health for physical therapy students.
Dr. Roehling received her bachelor of science in exercise science from the University of Arizona, her master of physical therapy from Emory University, her doctor of physical therapy from ATSU, and her doctor of philosophy in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She is an assistant professor of physical therapy and director of the post-professional doctor of physical therapy program at ATSU. Pamela Kays holds a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis on movement science, a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and a Doctor of Education degree with an emphasis in education for health professions. She is an assistant professor at A. T. Still University in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Both guests are reviewers for the Journal of Women's Health Physical Therapy and primary patient care is in pelvic health.
