Tristan and Chris embarked on a journey recently. Not a physical one, but a mental one. The mindset and philosophies of stoicism were integrated into their lives in a lot of different ways, and there were a ton of lessons to be learned. From fixing lawn mowers to keeping your patience about moving troubles, stoicism paved a new mentality for the both of them.

In the third episode of Meet the Guinea Pigs, this week Tristan and Chris go on an adventure through the game of chess. Tristan,  who had never played chess before in his life, had to learn how the pieces work and the general beginner things about the game. Chris had only played when he was younger and just spent the three weeks learning more strategy and about the community. Episode 2 of the new season "Meet the Guinea Pigs" where we experiment with doing different things and accepting new ways of life, the latest one being listening to two new albums every single day. Since Tristan isn't much of an album person (more a song person) this was a good experience for him, and it's a very good introduction to progressive music/metal music for a newbie.

We're back! In the beginning of season three we will be covering Tristan's favorite topic: movies. Tristan picked out seven essential movies that every person should see in their lives, and Chris had to watch them (for better or for worse). Luckily you get to hear an up close and personal review of each movie by Chris, and hear Tristan's reasons for why they're such important movies.

Is it more beneficial to your training to train specifically for size or specifically for strength? The different methods vary in many ways but we way find that they overlap more than they differ. It's much more effective to use a mixture of both, just as every experienced lifter does.

Child safety legislation like the Flores Settlement and others actually hurt children more than they help them. When children are being used as a bargaining chip to get out of jail free then maybe we should reconsider how our system works. Often we find that legislation to help people merely gets taken advantage of. Another talking point from the left: walls don't work. This is incorrect. Despite what you think about Donald Trump, there have been countless instances of walls and borders and fences that have 100% gotten the job done and virtually halted all immigration at the border, and some of them are in other countries.
