What we’re looking at this weekend is the most significant turning point in the history of the local church – all involving ordinary people like you and me!

Here is the moment when the waiting gives way to fulfillment, and what God has been doing quietly comes to completion. The now and the future belongs to the Lamb!

The question isn’t, “when is judgment coming?”

It’s “whose mark is on our life when it arrives?”

God covers his people when setting the world right. 

At the appointed time, the trumpet will sound, the dead in Christ will rise, and the saints who remain alive will be gathered to welcome their coming King!

They never cease to say,

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, 

who was and is and is to come!” 

—Revelation 4:6-8, ESV

I will grant him to sit with me on my throne —Revelation 3:21a, ESV

But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. —Revelation 1:17b-18, ESV

Remember the wondrous works that he has done  —Psalm 105:5, ESV

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.  —Isaiah 65:17, NASB95

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6
