Tommy took a risk, moving to Mountain Town to start a business, but the last few years were rough: the death of his wife, sudden single-fatherhood, estrangement from the father he grew up with and meeting his real dad for the first time. Burnt out at his job and bored with life- relocating to the other side of the state and opening Metalwerx was the fresh start he needed.

Within weeks, his professional life was on fire. His personal life, however, consisted of microwaved Hot Pockets and evenings watching Bluey with his three-year-old son Branson.

Then Cheridan Reese rode into his life like a rhinestone cowgirl. Tommy falls head over boots for the kindergarten teacher when she takes a summer gig as Branson’s nanny.
