What we do when what we see with our eyes is very different from what our heart believes, determines how strong our faith will be.

Too many of us can’t get passed the last time or keep waiting for the perfect time, so we don’t know how to be happy at this time. We can’t change last time, and we don’t know if there will be a next time, so we must learn to be joyful at this time.

If we are going to break free, we need to look in. Too many times we look for external sources to solve internal issues. Maybe the thing we think we need to get out of the bondage we are in, is not in someone else, it’s already in us.

Not everything that happens to you is good, but God is good in everything that happens to you.

When we compare ourselves to others, we allow them to chart the course of our life. We were not created to acquire things. We were created for God.

Christianity rises and falls on the ninth commandment. Christianity is not like philosophy or spirituality. It’s history: people, times, places, circumstances, and events that actually happened. And if the testimony is not credible, then Christianity crumbles.

God wants us to understand and believe that He is the one who will supply all our needs.
