It's Tevin Tucker's turn on the Insider!

As West Virginia Baseball's super season continues, we sit down with veteran shortstop and graduate student Tevin Tucker. Named the Big 12 Player of the Week Monday, he’s currently 4th in the Big 12 hitting .370, while continuing to dazzle defensively. Having played 172 games in his Mountaineer career, we were able to sit down with Tevin at length to learn more about his recent run, his team, and more.

The 18th-ranked West Virginia Baseball has won 30 games before April and has the Mountain State behind them fully… after setting a single season attendance record in 2022, the mountaineers are on pace to smash that this year. Over 12,000 attended the last 4 home games at Wagener Field at Monongalia County Ballpark.

West Virginia is currently first in the Big 12 and is on the road this weekend for a three game series with Baylor.
