Joseph Laycock is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Texas State University. He has written  a book about the Satanic Temple and a book about the Satanic Panic triggered by roll-playing games in the 1980's. We had a great conversation about the nature of religion and what the Satanic Temple's story contributes to and nuances the discussion.

He has devoted his life to this secular religion and promoting religious plurality in the United States.
