Episode 25: Magic Parties, Rotten Eggs & A Date That Isn’t a Date
We’re back at the Mouse House for another week of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, and Episodes 26–30 bring us some of the most wonderfully chaotic moments of Season 3 so far!
This week, we get “Up to the Minute News,” where Sam Nerderlson and his team take the idea of breaking news to some truly ridiculous places, including updates on a sleeping president, a basketball game that refuses to change, and a weather report that gets increasingly frustrated. We also get Mouse Mail, embarrassing haircut advice from kids at the park, and a musical performance from Tommy Page.
Then things get even more chaotic with the return of My Annoying Dad, failed audience games, America’s Nuttiest Home Videos, and a whole lot of Dad Cam destruction. We’ll also revisit some questionable ’90s television moments, including a very uncomfortable Guest Day with Milli Vanilli, before Kevin literally ends up dancing on the ceiling.
Episode 28 brings us Professor Wow, talented dolphins at Epcot, a bizarre piano-juggling performance, and The Rotten Egg — a swimming-pool mishap that feels suspiciously like a horror movie trailer.
And then there’s Episode 29, which gives us one of my favorite Season 3 performances, a disastrous restaurant date featuring gravel, cockroaches, questionable menu options, and a waiter who definitely does not work there. We’ll also check in with Bo Jackson, spend some time with a teenage jockey, sample some truly bizarre vegetable creations, enjoy a little magic, and sing along to “Love Potion No. 9.”
Finally, Episode 30 gives us “Expression,” some questionable Ping Pong Channel advertising, terrible-but-amazing jokes, and an actual MMC storyline with “Not a Date.” Nick is convinced he’s headed out on a date with Jennifer, while the babysitting assignment he’s supposed to be handling gets increasingly complicated. Add in Gizmo Garage, the surprisingly simple solution of A Book, and a pair of very different Hall of Fame performers, and we’ve got quite the week to wrap things up.
So grab your Mickey ears and join me for another trip back to 1990 as we break down Episodes 26–30 — a week filled with bad haircuts, bad dates, bad restaurant service, questionable food, questionable journalism, magic, music, and enough ’90s weirdness to keep us entertained from beginning to end!

We’re back with another week of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as Season 3 rolls on! This week brings together everything we’ve come to expect from MMC: bizarre sketches, Mouse Mail, musical performances, celebrity guests, questionable ’90s fashion, and enough random Disney Channel chaos to keep things interesting.
We’ve got Mylin, Jason, and Ilana taking center stage, Chase’s hair becoming a storyline of its own, and plenty of classic MMC moments that somehow manage to go from completely normal to absolutely ridiculous in a matter of seconds. There are movie parodies, game-show shenanigans, special guests, musical numbers, and even a little Little Shop of Horrors thrown into the mix.
Plus, we’ll talk about some of the more memorable moments from this stretch of Season 3, including the moments that make you stop and think, “Yep…this could only happen on MMC.”
So settle in and join me as we break down Episodes 16–20 of Season 3 — another five days of music, mayhem, Mouse Mail, and peak early-’90s Disney Channel weirdness!

Season 3 is really starting to find its groove! This week, the new Mouseketeers continue settling into the cast while the show delivers a little bit of everything — comedy sketches, music videos, celebrity guests, and plenty of classic MMC chaos.
We get an especially fun “Opposites Attract” music video, a memorable Milli Vanilli appearance, and more of that unmistakable 1990 energy that makes these episodes such a great time capsule. Plus, the new Mouseketeers are no longer feeling quite so “new” as they become more comfortable and visible throughout the week.
It's another packed week of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club — and a pretty entertaining snapshot of where the show was heading as the '90s officially got underway.

This week on the podcast, we're wrapping up the third week of Season 3 of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, and the new cast is officially settling in. Marc, Jason, Ricky, Mylin, and Ilana are no longer just "the new kids"—they're becoming part of the fabric of the show as they pop up in more sketches, musical numbers, and hosting duties.
Across the week's episodes, we revisit fan-favorite recurring sketches like the Cave Girls, laugh through plenty of off-the-wall comedy, and spot more of the pop culture references that firmly plant MMC in the spring of 1990. From prehistoric gadgets and "New Kids on the Rock" to over-the-top characters, musical performances, and the show's trademark rapid-fire humor, this week is a great example of MMC finding its rhythm after the start of Season 3.
We'll also look at standout performances, memorable moments, behind-the-scenes observations, and all the little details that make revisiting these episodes so much fun more than 35 years later. Whether you're watching along for the first time or reliving your childhood one episode at a time, there's plenty of nostalgia—and a few laughs—to be had.
Join me as we break down Episodes 11 through 15 and see why this week perfectly captures the energy, humor, and growing confidence of the Season 3 cast.

This week on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club podcast, we're covering one of the biggest milestone weeks in the series as the show reaches its 100th episode—although you'd never know it from the cast, who treat it like just another day at the studio!
Season 3's newest Mouseketeers—Ilana, Marc, and Jason—finally begin stepping into the spotlight, and it's immediately clear they're becoming part of the show's identity. Marc makes an unforgettable first impression as the world's most overzealous hall monitor, Jason joins the fun during an ant-sized comedy club, and the younger cast members continue proving they're impossible not to love.
Along the way, we revisit some wonderfully bizarre sketches, including a candy house renovation on This Old House, Wendy Wallow's disastrous grocery store job, a Scottish hopscotch training camp, and an entire comedy club performed by ants. It's exactly the kind of wonderfully random humor that made MMC unlike anything else on television.
There's plenty of music this week as well, with performances from Exposé, DeeDee's energetic "Go For Yours," Albert's "I Live By the Groove," a lively "Dancing in the Street," and Chase's heartfelt performance of "When I See You Smile."
We also check in with recurring favorites like Just Perfect, watch Barney continue his obedience school adventures, learn some questionable "facts" during Yeah, Right, spend time with the Indiana Jones stunt team, and even witness Marc passionately defending video games decades before gamers had to defend themselves online.
As always, we're pointing out behind-the-scenes oddities, continuity quirks, hidden background moments, and those nostalgic little details that longtime fans love to notice—from recycled closing numbers to hilariously dated fashion, giant Hammer pants, and the unmistakable energy that made early-'90s MMC so much fun.
By the end of the week, Season 3 finally feels like it has found its footing. The new cast members are settling in, the sketches are firing on all cylinders, and despite the show's 100th episode quietly slipping by without much fanfare, this becomes one of the strongest weeks of the season so far.
Join me as we revisit another unforgettable week of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club—where candy houses violate every building code imaginable, hall monitors rule with an iron fist, ants perform stand-up comedy, and somehow... it all makes perfect MMC sense.

Season 3 kicks off with new faces, new energy, and the same wonderfully chaotic MMC spirit. Join me as I recap Episodes 1-5 from April 1990, featuring Whacko's unforgettable salon makeover disaster, Kevin's scene-stealing debut as Doggie Bowser, Tiffini's turn as Nancy Drool: Teen Detective, and the continuing adventures of Just Perfect, where Barney the St. Bernard systematically destroys Trent's perfectly organized world. Add in Michael Damian, Tina Yothers, Alex Trebek, ski show daredevils, trapeze artists, bizarre PSAs, and some classic MMC musical performances, and you've got the perfect start to the show's 90s era.

Welcome back to Mousekekast with Mandy as we dive into MMC Rewatch – Season 2, Episodes 36–40 (Nov 20–24, 1989). This Thanksgiving-week run mixes wacky wigs, worm songs from the MMC Choir (Kevin substituting for David), the “Where It’s Been” street-quarter vignette, and a running Bigfoot mystery in The Secret of Lost Creek (German-dubbed). Episode 37 features a student debate showdown (Westlake Prep vs. Wiseguy High) with silent-film bits, furniture stunts, and a Donny Osmond moment. Episode 38 keeps the pace with in-park games and interstitials, plus fan interactions and a continuing Lost Creek thread. Episode 39 foregrounds more fan mail and contest teases; Episode 40 wraps with performance clips, park antics, and a reflective closer on the era’s charm. This week’s MMC rewatch hits peak 1989 chaos: cheerleaders weaponize snacks, Kid Kopple reports on animal stereotypes, and the Lost Creek gang goes Bigfoot hunting. There’s a heartfelt segment with Marlee Matlin, a dog-hosted consumer show, and a neon‑tinted Donna Summer roller‑skating video.
