The Lord is a refuge who can be trusted.  You can remain in Him and stand strong inspite of the advice of those around you. 

David Laments over injustice which happens to the poor and helpless.  We should be moved by the plight of the innocent who are brought low by the wicked.

The Lord has victory over our enemies.  In every victory, the purpose goes beyond simply our ease or comfort. 

Not all prayer is communicated audibly; in fact, some of the most important prayer is inaudible. 

Followers of Christ can have a quiet confidence in the Lord like David rooted in God's past faithfulness.

Like David, we can trust the Lord in times of difficulty.  He is our shield, our glory, the lifter of our head.
