Byron Chamberlain is a former NFL tight end who played college football at the University of Missouri and Wayne State College. Byron was drafted in the 7th round of the 1995 NFL Draft and he played professional football for the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, and the Washington Redskins. Byron was a Pro-Bowler and he won back-to-back Super Bowl championships with the Denver Broncos (SB XXXII and SB XXXIII).

After retiring from the NFL in 2007, Don was handpicked by Patriots Head Coach, Bill Belichik, to stay with the team as the assistant strength and conditioning coach and team chaplain. Currently, Don is the Senior Director of Player Affairs for the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and is responsible for advancing and overseeing the management of varying aspects of player labor issues.
