John 13-16 is Jesus' final teaching to His disciples before His death. John 12v44-50 prepares us with the three questions we have to answer as we are commissioned.

Our world is full of royalty. Kings, queens, world leaders, and more. Our world has only seen one example of royalty that took on the form of a servant. Jesus sets this example in John 13v1-22. This week we learn how to clean one another's feet.

"The Heart of Prayer"

There are many ways to pray. There are many forms of prayer. In the end, prayer is more practice than theory. What moves us from theory to practice? Hunger. Do you have a heart for prayer?

"Gratitude"

Prayers of gratitude feel like the forced prayers that a God who needs credit demands we pray. What if we got it all wrong? Prayers of gratitude bring us to the feet of Jesus and then to the face of Jesus.

Confession of sin isn't failure. Confession of sin is an invitation to prayer that takes God up on the offer of grace and mercy.

Petitioning God is the work of prayer. We learn from a widow how to make requests to God and what true faith is about.

"Waiting and Listening in Prayer" 1 Kings 19v4-13

Life often doesn't go according to plan. Our response to these moments is somewhat chaotic. What if there was a better way? There is when we wait and listen in prayer.

Prayer is full of mystery and seemingly impossible questions. In Exodus 2v23-25 we are given insight into the heart of God when it seems as if our prayers are unanswered.
