Movement in March

Listen Later

In Episode 22, “Movement in March,” I break down a week where Carolina Athletics continued building momentum as postseason play gets closer. Men’s basketball closes out the regular season at the Dean Dome with a gritty win over Clemson, finishing the year a perfect 18–0 at home and celebrating Senior Night while honoring RJ Davis as his jersey was raised into the rafters. With the regular season winding down, I look ahead to the rivalry matchup at Duke and what these final games could mean for Carolina’s NCAA Tournament positioning. On the women’s side, Carolina continues its strong stretch with a record-setting performance from three against Virginia before securing a big rivalry win over Duke on Senior Day. Those wins locked the Tar Heels into the No. 3 seed and a double bye in the ACC Tournament as they prepare for the postseason. I also recap a huge week across Olympic sports, including softball continuing its dominant start, baseball piling up runs in another series sweep, track and field capturing an ACC Championship in Boston, and several other Tar Heel programs stacking impressive performances. With March officially here, this episode looks at the movement happening across Carolina Athletics as teams push toward tournament season.
