What are we missing in our movement diet?We can get caught up in doing our 30 minute - 1 hour exercise daily by going to the gym or doing a workout, but is that really the answer to offset our sedentary lifestyle?There definitely are some health benefits there but are we overly simplifying it and is that the only answer?How can us tradies and builders avoid pain, injury and where should we be investing some of our time and money in?If we take a look at food and it's macronutrients of Carbohydrates, Fats and Proteins. The macro nutrients for Exercise would be cardiovascular training, strength training and stretching. The missing nutrients both in food and exercise would be the micro nutrients we absorb on a daily basis. We should know that if we only counted our calories coming from our macronutrients we would eventually become deficient, sick, breed dis-ease and break.In this episode we jump into the micro movements, and fundamentals to keep the body well oiled, conditioned, mobile, robust, adaptable and strong.Why is it that we pursue exercise and what is our motivation to move? We no longer have to hunt and gather our food which has robbed us of essential movements, skillsets and wellbeing. Lets dive into what matters most... MOVEMENT!
