Two completely different films. So much so that it feels wrong calling 2025's The Running Man a remake. Luke & Corrye find a ton of ridiculousness in Arnold Schwarzenegger's version, and timely commentary and nods to modern times in Glenn Powell's. PLUS: Dune 3 tickets, a new James Bond actor, a new Aragorn, and the prequel we didn't need but are excited about thanks to Bradley Cooper.

The book was phenomenal. Was the movie able to translate to the big screen? The Chumps were floored...and came to the film from different avenues: Corrye read the book 3 times. Luke read it 0 times.

Is One Battle After Another a thriller, a father/daughter film, a black comedy, or a social commentary? Yes to everything. Luke & Corrye sift through all the bananas decisions by Paul Thomas Anderson that makes this an instant classic.

Timothée Chalamet and Josh Safdie. What a combination. The young actor and the rising director concoct one of the great New York City films of all time, packed with absolutely bananas situations that ping-pong player Marty Mouser and an array of characters find themselves in. Luke & Corrye discuss Kevin O'Leary and Odessa A'zion's star turns, that honey scene, two very controversial lines of dialogue, and of course, that somewhat surprising ending. 

A hat trick for Rian Johnson! The director feeds us the third Benoit Blanc film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, and once again, gets us exercising our brains and funny bone. Luke hated the cast chemistry but enjoyed everything else especially Josh O'Connor. Corrye found himself fond of the commentary on faith and politics. The Chumps have a ball exploring the nooks and crannies of this puzzle box. PLUS: Remembering Rob Reiner, forgiving Netflix, and Luke's most bizarre 5 Questions yet!

It's Dek, Thia, and Bud vs. those rascals at the Weyland-Yutani! On a booby-trapped planet, no less! Luke & Corrye lap up the action sequences and world building that director Dan Trachtenberg brings to his third Predator project. PLUS: the new trailer that has the Chumps salivating...and the Saudi's are throwing around their fun coupons once again! Friend of the Pod Cory K brings his brand of swagger back to Movie Chumps. From mood to cinematography to some truly frightening scenes, Nosferatu proves to be a worthy watch from the always reliable Robert Eggers. But the fellas explain why this is far from a horror classic.

This biopic gets a metric ton correct: the facts, the casting, the early 80s atmosphere, the motivations behind the Nebraska album. But Luke & Corrye believe Scott Cooper misses with trying to stick the landing. The Chumps adore Jeremy Allen White and some of the other cast's performances but when it comes to elevating the source material to something more cinematic, there's much to be desired. PLUS: the exciting news for Miami Vice fans - and the frustrating news for Star Wars aficionados.

Stephen King's latest book-to-movie adaptation is a winner, from top to bottom. And Hoosiers is the GOAT of sports movies (and Luke's GOAT, period). As our country wrestles with unsettling events, Luke & Corrye reflect on a deeper meaning for The Long Walk - and an age-old feel good triumph that is Hoosiers. Enjoy this double feature!

Gibson and Glover. The chemistry isn't second to none. Toss in some dynamite Gary Busey hijinx (who calls themselves Mr. Joshua?), Shane Black's wacky writing, and of course that sultry saxophone - and you've got yourself a bonafide modern classic!
