Our 1984 journey continues with what is arguably the crown jewel of such an excellent movie year: Jim Jarmusch’s Stranger Than Paradise.

Karlokino couldn’t have found a better guest discuss the film with, the eloquent Marcus Pinn, who matches his admiration for Jim Jarmusch. They also touch upon his other work and the journey of discovery, and they bring up Ghost Dog a few times.

In our Appetizers (11:00), Karlo asks Marcus what’s the status of Zebras in America, and what he’s been listening to lately.

In the apps, we discuss her Letterboxd Top Four, the Toronto Film Scene, and talk about Cassavetes’ body of work and what characterizes his filmmaking.
