This week we talk Disney-Pixar's COCO (2017). It won Best Animated Feature, but seems like a medium entry in the Pixar canon. We discuss the most cry-worthy Pixar moments and the psychotic thing that the Toy Story movies do to people.

This week, the boys discuss PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING (2018, dir. Steven S. DeKnight). Aaron was a big fan of the first one and Luke never saw the first one and they land in two different spots. Luke offers a story fix for the film.

We talk THE SHAPE OF WATER (2017, dir. Guillermo Del Toro). We discuss how it ranks compared to the other Oscar contenders of last year, plus we rate the other friendly monsters of Hollywood based on sexiness.

We talk ANNIHILATION (2018, dir. Alex Garland). We spend a lot of the episode dissecting and debating the ending (which didn't quite work), but figure it out and blow the whole thing open. Plus, why didn't they just use a boat?

On the first episode of Movie Friends, Luke and Aaron talk about Black Panther. They rank it among other Marvel movies and decide who the best and worst friends are in the movie. Lots of serious movie talk and goofy bits!
