Fast Times as Ridgemont High (1982)
The movie follows a group of high school students living in Southern California while they look for love, sex and just plain having a good time which, for the most part, they all seem to find tho sometimes in unexpected places. Hijinks ensue. One can argue, this is one of the most made over movies in recent history.

This week TC & Ceej will be doing things a little differently. As you probably noticed in our intro, we are doing our first ever MOVIE MADEOVER/ SEQUEL SMACKDOWN. This is where we compare two movies from a franchise and determine which version of the makeover did a better job over 5 rounds. This week’s two titles are 2000’s Halloween H20 and 2018’s Halloween
The 1978 classic horror film Halloween starring Jamie Lee Curtis is unique in that it has been made over 3 different times! So in today’s episode we’re going to compare the Halloween makeovers to see which one did it better.
For the purposes of this podcast, the Rob Zombies film won’t be considered as it has no ties to the original cannon.

Candyman was released on September 11th 1992 by Tristar pictures. The film follows Helen a grad student writing a thesis on Urban Legends. The project takes a drastic turn when Helen focuses on the local tale of Candyman, a black aristocrat from the 1800’s who was lynched for impregnating a white woman. Legend has it that Candyman will return to kill those who invoke his name 5 times while looking in a mirror. After summoning him herself, Helen’s life begins to resemble the very urban legends she once studied. This understated horror movie was made for 9 million and made a respectable $25 million
