Welcome to Movie Mandates, a review show in which sibling cinephiles Andrew and Keleigh force each other to watch movies according to a monthly theme!  We're wrapping up "As Bad As We Remember?" month with Keleigh's mandated movie: Mars Attacks!  We saw this in the theater back when it came out and found it so tonally removed from what the marketing had promised that neither of us liked it.  Years later, knowing what the film's tone and sense of humor was, I found I appreciated it more but my sister hasn't seen it since that initial screening, nearly 30 years ago.  Will knowing what kind of movie she's in for change her opinion?  Only 37 ways to find out and one of them is listening to this podcast!
