If there's something strange in your neighbourhood, who you gonna call? Well, certainly not Adam because he's scared of ghosts.

This week the boys dive into one of their favourite 80s franchises, Ghostbusters, with a rewatch of the 1984 and '89 classics, the highly praised 2021 legacy requel, and the brand new for 2024 release 'Frozen Empire'.

Every film fan has a never-ending watchlist and Adam & Alfie are no exceptions, this week they talk about the biggest films that they (criminally) haven't ever seen. Fight Club turns 25 years old this year so Adam checks that one off his list. The media runs amok with Bond rumours and 'Sir Michael Caine' seems to have overindulged on St Patrick's Day... bless him.

The 96th Academy Awards were held this week so the boys take one last look back at the celebrated films of last year. The end of an era - we didn't cry, we promise. They also survey the current state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a hotly discussed topic by geeks around the world. The boys most anticipated film of the year, Madame Web, sure did disappoint… Let’s hope this small budget, limited release, tiny little film, called Dune: Part Two can cheer the boys up this week.

They chat everything Arrakis and Harkonnen this week, deep diving on Part One and Part Two in this Dune bumper special.

Double digits... episode 10! This week, the reviews are of Wicked Little Letters and National Theatre Live's Vanya (with Andrew Scott). Two brand spanking new segments are introduced and the lads talk about the Glasgow Willy Wonka Experience: heralded as 'encherining' by (AI) critics... a 'pasadise of sweet teats' to be sure. Next week, it'll be a bumper episode about DUNE and Alfie & Adam will be back in the studio once more.

Movie On Up is in the big time, baby! Adam shares his experience of attending the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards in London. Thankfully, his ego was humbled this week after enduring a showing of Madame Web. There's also a review of The Iron Claw and the lads discuss the new, official Fantastic 4 cast. When Phil Lord & Christopher Miller pitched a possible LEGO movie to Dan Lin and Warner Brothers, you'd be forgiven if you presumed a shameless advert was on the way. However, when it released in February 2014, it was critically and commercially a smash hit! Alfie and Adam may be in different counties this week but they had to pay homage to one of the greatest animated movies of all-time and a cornerstone of their childhoods. As we all know, you can have too much of a good thing. That includes watching Oscar nominees. That's why Adam went to see Matthew Vaughn's new caper this week: Argylle. Cue a 20-minute rant of confusion. Alfie also caught up with Andrew Haigh's All of us Strangers so listen in for a spoiler-filled discussion. Oh! Having now seen (nearly) all the nominees for the 96th Academy Awards, Adam and Alfie run through the main categories and predict the outcomes for the prestigious event. Adam starts the episode feeling burnt by the coffee industry - ground down, if you will. Thankfully, Alfie, the uplifting spirit of Movie On Up, and a little Michael Caine soon fixes things.

Life sure would be simpler if you were a mere House Elf like Toby Jones. One can dream.
