Sight and Sound Theatre has produced their first theatrical film release with "I Heard the Bells."  It tells the story of American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.  It's a fascinating movie and story, and by the movie's end you will understand the multi-layer meaning of what "I Heard the Bells" means.

Mother Teresa is a fascinating woman who mesmerized believers and unbelievers.  A recent documentary produced by the Knights of Columbus told her story in theaters through a Fathom Movie Event.  

In this episode, Fr. Edward Looney interviews Oscar Delgado about the Polish documentary turned Fathom Movie event, "St. Michael: Meet the Angel."

The movie Gigi & Nate tells the story of a young quadriplegic man and how his service animal helps him in his daily tasks.  In this interview, Fr. Edward talks with Gigi & Nate director Nick Hamm who explains why this story is being shared on the big screen, how it challenges both sides of the animal rights debates, and the message he hopes movie viewers walk away with.

Alexis Walkenstein from AWE PR, a friend of Fr. Edward, joins him to talk about Thirteen Lives.  Fr. Edward had the chance to pre-screen Thirteen Lives through Grace Hill Media, and Alexis saw the buzz and wanted to see it.  After seeing Alexis tweet about it, Fr. Edward knew she'd be great to discuss that movie and then also to talk about a project AWE PR was working on and promoting called Slaves and Kings. 

An interview with comedic legend Jo Koy and actress Lydia Gaston about their historic film releasing in theaters this Friday, August 5th called "Easter Sunday".  Easter Sunday is the first film to have an all Asian cast and Filipino leads.  It's a movie that made me laugh and conveys the value of celebrating holidays as family.  I know it's not Easter Sunday on August 5th when it releases, but it can bring us some Resurrection hope this summer!
