Bullet Train is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch
from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz, starring Brad Pitt, and produced by
Antoine Fuqua, who initially conceived the film. The picture is based on
the 2010 novel Maria Beetle (titled Bullet Train in its UK and US edition),
written by Kōtarō Isaka and translated by Sam Malissa, the second novel in
Isaka's Hitman trilogy, of which the first novel was previously adapted as
the 2015 Japanese film Grasshopper. Pitt portrays a begrudging assassin who
must battle fellow killers while riding a fictionalized version of the
bullet train Tokaido Shinkansen. The film also features an ensemble
supporting cast including Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree
Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, and Sandra

Don't Look Up is a 2021 American science fiction black comedy film written,
produced, and directed by Adam McKay, and starring an ensemble cast
consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate
Blanchett, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée
Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande and Scott Mescudi. It tells the story
of two astronomers attempting to warn humanity about an approaching comet
that will destroy human civilization. The impact event is an allegory for
climate change, and the film is a satire of government, political, and
media indifference to the climate crisis.[6][7]
Produced by Hyperobject Industries and Bluegrass Films, the film was
announced in November 2019 and sold by Paramount Pictures to Netflix
several months later. Lawrence became the first member of the cast to join,
with DiCaprio signing on after his discussions with McKay on adjustments to
the script; the rest of the cast was added through 2020. Filming was
initially set to begin in April 2020 around the U.S. state of Massachusetts
but was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic; it eventually began
in November 2020 and wrapped up in February 2021.

It is the sequel to Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), both directed by Reitman's father Ivan, and the fourth film in the Ghostbusters franchise. It stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd, while Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver reprise their roles from the original films. Set 32 years after Ghostbusters II, a single mother and her two children move to a small town in Oklahoma, where they discover their connection to the Ghostbusters and their grandfather's secret legacy.
A third Ghostbusters film had been in development since Ghostbusters II, but stalled as Murray refused to commit. In the end, it became Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which Dan Aykroyd insisted was "essentially the third movie."After cast member Harold Ramis died in 2014, Sony produced a female-driven reboot directed by Paul Feig and released in 2016. After Feig's film drew controversy and underperformed commercially, Jason Reitman developed a sequel to the original films. The new cast was announced by July 2019, while the original cast signed on two months later. It is posthumously dedicated to Ramis, who is commemorated in the closing credits. Filming took place from July to October 2019.

It is produced by Kurtzman/Orci Productions, Mandeville Films and Touchstone Pictures for Walt Disney Pictures, and stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds with Betty White, Mary Steenburgen, and Craig T. Nelson. The plot centers on a Canadian executive who learns that she may face deportation from the U.S. because of her expired visa. Determined to retain her position as editor-in-chief of a publishing house, she convinces her assistant to temporarily act as her fiancé.
Development began in 2005, when Chiarelli wrote the script. Principal filming occurred over a period of two months from March to May 2008. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who criticized its screenplay but praised the chemistry between Bullock and Reynolds. It was a box office success, grossing over $317 million worldwide on its $40 million budget. Bullock was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
