Movie Sherpas

In this bonus episode the boys take a short break from spooky season to take on a political comedy so well done the Russian government delayed its release.   2017 The Death of Stalin sports an all star cast and some vaguely familiar laughs.  Join the boys and take on the Iron Curtain....kinda.

We left the boys discussing the depreciation of the female action star in todays cinema and their want for them to be given their own movies!  The discussion continues with the showcase of a few key changes that were evident after these titanic franchise made their landing into our homes.

In this episode the boys discuss two seemingly unrelated blockbuster franchises Jurassic Park and Diehard.  These two film franchises represent two major changes in the film industry.  A new generation of giant effects film and the birth of the action star.

In this episode we dive into the 2002 Spike Jonze dark comedy drama Adaptation. A manic dive into the mind of a screenwriter as his life begins to intertwine mysteriously with the book he is trying to turn into a movie. With an all star cast including Meryl Streep and two Nicolas Cages!!  Strap in with the boys and enjoy their take on a very underrated film.
