Carl and Simon revisit Shaun of the Dead for the Classics Collection. It's a 2004 romantic comedy and horror film (ZomRomCom) directed by Edgar Wright, featuring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis.

It’s spooky season and this is about as close to horror as we get!

We discuss whether this horror homage has the stamina, girth and penetration necessary to make it into the MTN Classics Collection

The mashup: Dog Day Afternoon & Rounders.

Does Dog Day Afternoon and Rounders really make Uncut Gems? Or do we come up with something better to make it on to the Filmily Tree?

Carl and Damon face-off - Who knows more Sandler than Pacino?

Carl and Simon discuss million dollar baby for Movie the Needle and see whether they can change each other's minds. It's a 2004 buddy and drama film directed by Clint Eastwood, featuring Hilary Swank, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman.

Clint Eastwood pulls no punches, but does Million Dollar Baby earn its emotional knockout? Carl and Simon step into the ring to see if they can Movie the Needle.

One of us likes it and the other doesn't. We talk all of the usual nonsense including being grumpy, swearing at a priest, engaging in some politically incorrect banter, and possibly even coming around to the idea of a surrogate child fixing all of our problems.

Si and Carl are joined by Chris G from Best Picture Cast for Mashflix and Chill. Which two films combine to make Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight?

We talk about Glory, and we do get into The Thing. No, not Tarantino's foot fetish, the other thing. Also, Si tells us what he thinks of Channing Tatum's oral skills. It's madness, it's fun, it's Mashflix and Chill!

Carl and Si return to argue about Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. One of us likes it, the other not so much.

Can Shane Black's "razor sharp" dialogue win the day? Or will Robert Downey Jr's relentless neediness prove too big an obstacle. Have a listen and see if we can Movie the Needle for one another!
