80 FOR BRADY is a comedy about four senior ladies who love to root for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. They even have a few superstitions about game time every Sunday. After the Patriots win the 2017 AFC Championship game, the ladies hear about a contest to get four tickets and a hotel room in Houston for the Super Bowl between the Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. However, complications ensue when they lose their tickets, and the Patriots are down 28 to 3 in the third quarter.

MURF THE SURF: JEWELS, JESUS AND MAYHEM IN THE USA is a documentary miniseries on MGM+. The series discusses The Crime of the 20th Century when Jack Murphy, aka Murf the Surf, and other Miami Beach boys stole the Star of India sapphire from the Museum of Natural History in 1964. Before that, Murf left Southern California to become a surfing champion in Florida. The first episode contains many references foreshadowing Murf’s conversion, including his statement that “you don’t find God, He finds you,” and an evangelistic clip from a Billy Graham crusade. After serving time in prison for theft, and, then again for murder, Murf finds Jesus, writes a book and spends 26 years in prison ministry.

FIRE OF LOVE is a documentary about two volcanologists who focused their marriage around their work understanding the earth and getting as close as they could to its volcanic eruptions. Maurice and Katia Krafft met, fell in love and ultimately perished thanks to their adoration for volcanoes. In the course of their brief but passionate lives, the Kraffts captured some of the best candid volcanic imagery ever recorded, which survives to this very day.

MACK & RITA follows the story of Mack Martin, a 30-year-old writer who’s always felt 70-years-old at heart. Striving to act like a 30-year-old, she never masters what other girls her age enjoy doing, especially drinking and partying. She heads to Palm Springs for a bachelorette trip, only to be reminded how much of an old woman she is at heart. Disappointed she can’t force herself to party with the other women, Mack wanders into a past life “regression” tent. The experience transforms her into a 70-year-old woman! She starts calling herself Rita, Mack’s elderly aunt.

GOING HOME: “Charley’s Way” is the opening episode to a drama streaming on Pure Flix about daily life in a hospice for terminally ill patients. It focuses on the facility’s head nurse, Charley Copeland. Charley arrives at Sunset House at the end of her jogging commute. Her workday commences with the nurses’ report, where the previous shift briefs the incoming shift, followed by a new patient arrival. The episode’s trajectory turns to the patient and their family, and the thoughts and feelings they have about the patient’s imminent death. Charley and the staff encourage them to have a healthy acceptance of “death as a part of life.”

The Season One finale of STAR WARS: ANDOR on Disney Plus begins with Cassian Andor returning to Ferrix to secretly attend his adopted mother’s funeral. As Andor watches, the people gather in the town square to hear a message Andor’s mother recorded before she died. Her message to the people: Wake up and fight the empire! The people rebel, but Imperial troops attack them. Andor must rescue his tortured friend Bix, who’s held captive by the secret police. DOG GONE is a family drama on Netflix. A college graduate bonds with a dog, but when the dog goes missing, his whole family steps in to help. Fielding loves his dog, Gonker, but when he moves back home, his parents are concerned his primary focus is the dog, with no plan for getting a job. One day, Fielding hikes the Appalachian Trail, lets Gonker off his leash, and Gonker goes missing chasing a fox. His parents create a plan and strategy to find Gonker, and, because of this, the family bonds together.

June and her mother are having relationship problems, but June agrees to pick them up at the airport when they return. However, they don’t show. So, June reaches out to the FBI at the American Embassy and to a local tourist guide. Unexpected twists follow, one of which leads June to question everything she knows about her mother.
