Don't let the title mislead you - Mortal Kombat was a thoroughly enjoyable movie going experience! One of the hard parts about talking about films is that you have to take notes (or at least I do - I'm just not the genius I appear to be, ha!), and doing do requires your aversion from the film for brief, but important seconds. I'll be definitely seeing this movie in the theater one more time to sit back and just enjoy it!

All I wanted from the movie was to not be utterly cheesy. I got what I wanted!

I walk into a theater, not worried about my movie theater etiquette and with somewhat of a snicker on my face. The theater has "Luxury+" next to its name in neon lights outside. How can a theater be luxurious, or even more than luxurious? To be sure, I had been to a couple Rave theaters in my life that had love seats, but that was about as luxurious as I've seen a movie theater get. This theater I'm in does serve beer and wine. That is a bit more luxurious than normal.

I get my ticket and head to my seat. I see recliners. Full on recliners. When I picked my seat, I was skeptical because there were so few seats in the selection. I sit in my seat and recline it fully. Am I going to be able to stay away for this movie? I thought to myself.

Now, calm down. I know there are people out there who are going to hate this movie. There are people who take life way too seriously, and for some reason, take entertainment even more seriously. Did you know not all movies are documentaries? It turns out many, many more movies are meant for entertainment purposes, and Nobody achieved that while igniting the midlife crisis in me.
