Starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth this movie was very underappreciated in the theatres and by Derryk. So let's just leave that aside, we will discuss the importance of this movie in the series and how GREAT it is to see War Boys in action. That is no more prevalent than in this review of Akira Kurosawa's foray into the western genre but with a samurai flair, Yojimbo. You can't overstate how the western motion pictures influenced Kurosawa and how Mofune's lone Ronin (masterless samurai) totally represents the lone gunman. But let's not get too far into it. Listen and enjoy how we discuss everything from the western topic to the Meiji Restoration, in which this movie takes place. This weeks episode is the 90's classic, at least in my opinion, and Spielbergian motion picture, HOOK!!! Enjoy our discussion on how cool it is that there was SOOO many stars in this movie and it isn't even a MARVEL movie. Pretty nuts? WOW!!!! DUNE PART 2!! This movie did not disappoint and neither did our guest. Eric came back for this special episode to talk about one of our fave movie series and one of our fave directors. I don't want to say too much, but it was great catching up and talking about not only a great scifi/fantasy film but possibly the next best picture winner (at least in my opinion).
