    Film Synopsis

    After being convicted of the murder of his wife and her paramour, Andy Dufresne is sentenced to two consecutive life sentences at Shawshank prison where he has to struggle to maintain his own sense of integrity in place that has little integrity itself.

    In this episode, the guys talk about themes such as justice, institutionalization, hope, persistence, freedom, redemption, the prison system, and the relationship between religion and morality. Mark talks about existentialism and Mike explains why appearances aren’t everything. Tune in to see why.

It was written by Stephen King and included in his 1982 novella collection titled Different Seasons.
