Mom and I discuss two of our favorite films. When I was 8 years old, "Back to the Future" changed the course of my life. After seeing it I immediately became a fan of Michael J. Fox and wanted to be an actor. I talk about landing a commercial for Nickelodeon which in turn, changed my path from acting to filmmaking. Mom talks about her childhood and not being able to see many movies, however, in 2015 she saw "Joy" and was immediately inspired by it's lead character and how she overcame the odds to become one of the most successful women in business.

In honor of the Rio Olympics, Mom and I take a look at the 1982 Best Picture Winner about competing runners, "Chariots of Fire". I was only 5 years old when it upset "Raiders of the Lost Ark" to take the Oscar! Had I been able to watch the Oscars at that time, I know I would have been as annoyed as I was when "Saving Private Ryan" lost to "Shakespeare in Love". Mom and I also discuss the sport we think we could have excelled at as an Olympian!
