Black Panther was the second biggest film in 2018 and deservedly so, it's a good comic book film. Unfortunately there isn't anything that stands out against many other comic book films to get a best picture nomination.

In Spacehunter Michael Ironside could be the most underutilized villain of the 80's. He's barely on screen, the contraption he's in doesn't make me think he should be in charge or unbeatable in any way. Still kinda liked it though.

When scientifically modified cockroaches take over the town, things go sour fast. The mayor's daughter comes back to town to screw everything up. The sheriff doesn't know what he's doing and the local exterminator has all the brains.
