Episode 4. One year ago Allison relocated from Tulum, Mexico to Haarlem, Netherlands with Clay, Peaches, and a baby in her belly. When they arrived, their apartment was completely unfurnished and they hardly knew anyone. In this episode, she takes a moment to reflect and celebrate all the hurdles they overcame in order to start over and build a new life here. This weekend she’s hosting a little garden gathering to honor this milestone. She shares some of her favorite things about living in the Netherlands, the lack of language barrier, visa struggles, and how they’ve proactively integrated into the community.
