Hello everyone, I’m glad I am back this week; I came down with some really bad allergies last week and I wasn’t able to upload this episode, but I’m feeling much better now thank God! We will be finishing up our study through Matthew chapter 26, looking at a little bit of Greek language, examining why Peter was following Jesus at a distance when he was in the beginning processes of being taken to the cross? Me also going off topic a little of course as always lol; also looking at the hypocrisy of the high priest. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope you are excited to see what God has for us in 2025 as we continue to await for the second coming of His son!

Why did you just go away to pray for a third time to The Lord? Jesus doing this a third time stuck out to me at the end of last weeks message and we’re going to be answering that question a little bit at the beginning of today’s message. What does Jesus mean when he calls Judas “friend” in verse 50? And do you think in your own walk with Christ there are possible “Judas’” in your life you can pray for?

My favorite verses: 53-54, when talking about the Legion of Angels because it helps me understand the humility of Christ on a whole new level and how I am to practice the same daily.

Understanding “gathsemane” in the Greek, and how God uses settings like these to understand spiritual and physical matters. What is this “cup” Jesus is talking about? How did the Jews view the Passover? How are we supposed to view the Passover now? David Guzik has some really interesting insight that I got to see the Passover as Jesus did in this new covenant.

How was Peter able to be restored after denying Jesus? These questions we will answer as well as as many other questions beloved.

What is something that God has called you to sacrifice or give up for deeper dependence on Him? Seeing more of Gods prophetic pictures in this study we will look into today as well.

Why does God put emphasis on putting the sheep at His right hand? The judgment that Jesus talks about in verses 31-33 what kind of judgment is this? What does it mean to give someone something to drink to visit a stranger and to minister to those who are in need? How do I understand if I am the man who is being faithful with my talent? How do I know if I am the one who is described as the wicked and lazy servant? As we continue our study for the book of Matthew, it is important to understand that chapter 25 is a deeper explanation of the wise servant that is explained at the end of Matthew 24. So we then ask who are the five foolish virgins and the five wise virgins? What does the oil represent? We will be answering these questions as well as looking at some very interesting Greek language near the end, as we then also bounce back to some other interesting verses.

How can we be sure that we will be ready at Jesus’ second coming? How do we understand faith and works in regards to salvation? What does it mean to store up treasures on earth? How was it possible that the Lord Jesus doesn’t know the time of his coming who is the one that is being taken and the one that is being left? These are questions that we will be answering as we look at another interesting passage in Daniel 12 and 1st Thessalonians chapter 4. I kinda went back-and-forth on where I stand of who is the one being taken away; and I explained as to why.
