  • Solo series 21 / Why are you doing it?

How many times have you pursued something so badly and halfway through or at the end of it all you question your motives for doing it? Like why did I really start doing all this? Is it worth all the effort and struggle?

  • Episode 107 / Annica Fischer - Slowing Down.

In their third episode together, Jenny and Annica hold a discussion around slowing down and finding solitude in a world where busyness has become the norm. They delve deeper into finding reason in moments of stillness and quietness, paying attention to the little whispers in our lives and being intentionally present for the things and people that matter in your life.

In a world filled with endless tasks and responsibilities and so many voices pouring into our lives, sometimes we get distracted and end up listening to the wrong voices. This is why we need moments that we can slow down, be still, reconnect with the universe, let our voices speak the loudest in our lives and find meaning in the mundane.

  • Solo series 20 / Outpouring God's Compassion
"Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil." ~ 1 Peter 3:8-7; 13-17

In today's episode, we are talking about being grounded in this truth and some practical ways in which living with an attitude of compassion directly impacts our communities.
