Kristina Lucia is a storyteller! Since she was a young child, she has been intrigued by the element of pretend and well known for her vivid imagination. As children toys are one of our first tools that serve our needs for pretend and similar explorations. Her goal with these creations is to further facilitate the art of play, a crucial part of a child's development, while also giving the child a further outlet for the love language of touch. Kristina Lucia Teddy Bears hopes to inspire and ignite this sense of freedom and imagination in each child and simultaneously provide them with the opportunity to explore their environment with a sense of love and security.

Life is messy and sometimes uncomfortable, but when we choose to embrace the ugly and walk through the seasons instead of sitting on the sidelines is when we gain the perseverance to run this race of life. Matshona Dhliwayo said," When the wind blows, a stubborn tree breaks but an intelligent one bends."
In this week's episode we are revisiting episode 28 of season 2 with Kevin Mbogho and talking about how to walk through the storms in our lives.
There will be storms in our lives with the wind blowing strong enough to almost break us but we need to anchor ourselves on something strong that can hold us down. Trusting in the Lord and grabbing a hold of His hand tightly is an assurance of a breakthrough. Be present while walking through your storm and intentionally adjust your mind to believe you are enough to conquer it all.
As we listen to this episode and work out ways to weather our storms or get the drive to push the ones we have already put in place, let the word 'surrender' not be in our dictionary, only 'fight back'. Let's be inspired to put our fight song on and forge ahead without forgetting to vulnerably acknowledge that it's okay not to be okay.

An avid kiteboarder, triathlete, and boat captain for a whale-watch operation on the Big Island, Kelsey's love for challenge and adventure is a huge part of who she is. "I believe women are capable of anything they put their mind to, and I have tried to exemplify that truth statement in my life." Her heart to help others is ultimately the purpose of her existence, which has been cultivated in her love for Jesus. This passion to serve others birthed Moi Moi Market and The Talking Story Podcast. "We want to make it easy for consumers to find, trust, and purchase products of purpose; products that help women out of sex trafficking, provide clean water, build schools, clean plastics from our oceans, and empower families. Moi Moi Market (www.moimoimarket.com) is a one stop shop for those products which includes Imani Collective. The Talking Story Podcast is the educational piece that explains the story behind the product and just shares cool stories of people using their lives to make a difference in others." Although working full time, she believes in giving back to the community, and has served at Heart Ranch and Ho'ola Na Pua here on the Big Island, Hawaii.
Even though life is busy, she still finds time to play and have fun. One of her favorite things to do is taking her dogs for walks at the beach. To Kelsey, "there's nothing like toes in the sand, listening to the ocean, and just BE-ing." @captkelseyhawaii
