    Sania Shapi is Nairobi and Mombasa raised, has a degree in management and marketing and is an entrepreneur. She founded Thoughts Uncovered with the intention of people joining her on her path of self growth in various aspects of her life. Her hope with beginning the youtube channel was for people to come together and reach their fullest potential.

    Over the years, she has taken a keen interest in psychology as a hobby and loves understanding how people think. Due to an interesting life experience, it has led her to wanting to really grow and understand herself, as well as other people better.

    In this episode, Jenny and Sania talk about finding your identity even when others might tell you different, talking about loss and how to stand strong in the process, but ultimately the legacy we are ultimately wanting to leave. The conversation was filled with honesty, vulnerability and compassion.     Ep. 06 | Lulu Kitololo -

    Lulu Kitololo is the founder of an art and design business, Lulu Kitololo Studio. In the past 10 years, Lulu has worked on over 100 branding projects with various types of clients including international NGOs, women's rights organisations, museums, film festivals, fashion brands, theatre companies and more.

    Along with offering branding and illustration services to clients, Lulu has a line of stationery and lifestyle products, featuring her signature illustration style.

    Lulu is co-founder of the Afri-love Connection Club, a network where female founders come together to transform their businesses and their lives. The Club debuted in May 2018 and has grown to include three chapters in Nairobi and one in Mombasa.

    Lulu is also the founder of Afri-love Fest, a festival celebrating creativity which, had a successful debut in November 2018.

    Lulu has a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in New York and an MA in African Studies from SOAS, University of London.

    Lulu loves discovery – learning, travel… and creating – writing, using her hands, coming up with ideas… She enjoys simple things like swimming in the ocean and lying in the grass, and moving her body with yoga and dance.

    KaRonna is a writer and adventurer living in Texas with her husband and little boy. She equally loves exploring both the outdoors and the deepest parts of life. Early mornings, black craft coffee, and heart-to-heart talks bring her fantastic amounts of joy.

    The aim of her work is to help women discover freedom from judgement, negative self-talk, comparison, and perfectionism. She does this by sharing Stories of Grace: real-life examples of giving ourselves grace and processing through uncomfortable experiences. Her hope is that these stories will show that we are not alone and it's okay to be our real, vulnerable, imperfect, authentic selves. She writes to extend hope and create solidarity.

    Most of her work is on Instagram for now, but her blog gets occasional attention, too.

    In this episode, Jenny and KaRonna talk about what it looks like to wear many hats and have grace on yourself in the process. They spend time getting vulnerable about the past and how it has shaped their characters of today, but they also spend a lot of time laughing about coping techniques and broken microwaves. KaRonna is a woman filled with drive and motivation. She has one beautiful heart that just wants to see good in this world.
