the violin.

Another French opera composer, Jules Massenet
did write orchestral music, with beautiful melodies,
such as the famous Meditation from the opera Thais

Although French composer Georges Bizet is mainly recognized by his opera Carmen, and other operas, he also wrote beautiful orchestral passages.

This program explores further the music of French composer Claude Debussy, with traditional and impressionistic music including LA MER, considered to be one of the best compositions of the 20th century

To conclude this series, we will explore the music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov the most prolific of the group with not only Russian music, but also exotic music from Spain and the Middle East
